The tour is a biannual project of the Del Ray Citizens Association and raises money for neighborhood projects. It also provides a great showcase for local homeowners and a great opportunity to check out the work of local architects and builders and to get great ideas on paint colors, tiles, decorative hardware, bath and kitchen fixtures.
Proceeds from this year’s tour will go towards supporting the Alexandria Scholarship Fund and landscaping at the “Tot Lot Park” at the corner of Commonwealth and East Del Ray Avenues. Click here to see the complete plan for the park. Most of the plantings have yet to be done.
